Congratulations to our Commended Students
Officials of National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) recently announced Seneca Valley Seniors Mac Wilson, Albert Pimenov and Benny James as Commended Students in the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program
They have been recognized by the NMSC for their outstanding performance on the qualifying test used for program entry.
“We are incredibly proud of Mac, Albert and Benny and the dedication they have shown to their academics,” said Seneca Valley Senior High School Principal Bob Ceh. “Being named a Commended Student is a tremendous accomplishment and a reflection of the hard work and commitment they have demonstrated throughout their high school careers.”
Over 1.2 million juniors in about 20,000 high schools entered the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the 2025 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®), which served as an initial screen of program entrants.
