Stream Guardians: professional development for environmental educators
Seneca Valley School District is proud to participate in the annual Remake Learning Days Celebration! Join us as Ryan Gloyer Middle School hosts “Stream Guardians,” a professional development day for educators on fly fishing and utilizing streams for engaging environmental education. This event is a fantastic chance for educators to explore how to utilize local creeks and streams for real-world, hands-on learning experiences.
Event Details:
- Date: May 8 (Rain make-up date: May 13)
- Location: Seneca Valley Aquatic Center (located next to Ryan Gloyer Middle School), 122 Seneca School Road, Harmony, PA 16037
- Time: Introductory meeting at 8 a.m. (optional) - participants are free to come and go as they please. The event will wrap up with a Q & A session at 2:30 p.m. in the Aquatic Center.
- Format: “Station Rotation” along the stream on our campus
- Cost: FREE
- Lunch: Provided for interested participants

Additional Information:
- Regardless of arrival time, please report to our welcome center at the Seneca Valley Aquatic Center, where you will receive a map, schedule and a brief explanation of the day's structure.
