SV orchestra students take part in PMEA String Fest

Last month, 23 Seneca Valley orchestra students in grades 7-9 participated in the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) District 5 String Fest at Sharon City High School. This one-day string fest combines students from school districts across Beaver, Butler, Lawrence and Mercer counties. Orchestra students learned three pieces during the school day and performed them that evening with guest conductor Ms. Gretchen Wyder Zunic. Ms. Wyder teaches high school and middle school orchestra in the Upper Arlington School District in Ohio. It was a wonderful day of collaboration and hard work!
