Celebrating the fall festivities, Haine’s Best Buddies chapter recently hosted a pumpkin painting event! Teacher-nominated third, fourth and fifth graders teamed up with students from Haine's Multiple Supports classrooms for a fun and heartwarming collaborative experience.

Best Buddies International is a nonprofit organization consisting of volunteers that create opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. At the elementary level, it’s about promoting inclusion and friendship among students with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities through group activities. The chapter looks forward to continued group activities in the winter and spring, including the third Annual Seneca Valley Best Buddies walk on May 30, at North Boundary Park.
