Ehrman Crest Elementary hosts Remake Learning Days event

On May 19, Ehrman Crest Elementary School hosted “Play with Purpose: Structured Dramatic Play in Action” a family event for incoming kindergarten students to experience the power of structured dramatic play. Part of the annual Remake Learning Days, this event offered real-world play experiences based on Fred Rogers’ educational philosophy.

During the program, families explored nine different play centers that included practicing standing in a cafeteria line, riding a Seneca Valley school bus, connecting with staff and more. Students enjoyed engaging in activities designed to foster language development, expressive and receptive communication, listening skills and social interaction.
