ECMS hosts SV3 activities, showdown

Teacher emcees schoolwide assembly on respect

Last month, Ehrman Crest Middle School (ECMS) students participated in a “Fresh February” day filled with schoolwide lessons that promoted being responsible, respectful and ready (also known as the SV3).

Activities focused on building community, collaboration, and a positive school culture through hands-on, interactive learning experiences. Students worked in groups to complete challenges that included making creative SV3 posters and constructing sturdy bridges using limited materials. Inspired by ECMS sixth grade SV3 Squad, the bridge challenge connected Ehrman Crest’s theme, “Building Bridges” and tasked teams with building strong bridges while also working collaboratively.

The day concluded with an exciting schoolwide assembly filled with surprises! Middle school students competed in an “SV3 Showdown: Respect Edition,” to win prizes and celebrate peer respect. The assembly ended with a surprise Whitney Houston Drumbeat Challenge where ECMS Assistant Principal Mr. Ivan Aranha took the victory! Shoutout to all ECMS students and staff for making Fresh February a day of fun, learning and SV3 spirit!
