The SV All-Star Club is an awards program developed by the District to express our gratitude to Seneca Valley classified employees (secretaries, paraprofessionals, maintenance, cafeteria) and bus drivers who are often the unsung heroes of our schools. We intend to recognize a new member of this elite all-star club each month.
Lauri Pendred, Principal of Ehrman Crest Elementary School shared, “I’ve worked with Colleen for almost 20 years, and she is extremely dedicated to her job. She has always strived to serve others, and she welcomes people to our school and helps them feel at ease as they enter our building.”
“Ms. Kamarchik takes her role of supporting teachers and all staff very seriously. She is committed to serving teachers to get them what they need to instruct their students. She has been dedicated to managing, recruiting and retaining quality substitutes by listening to them, understanding where their strengths are and matching them to grade levels and special areas. Having been a paraprofessional herself and having a daughter who is a teacher, she knows the importance of supporting those staff members. I couldn’t have asked for a better partner all of the years I have been an administrator. She is so very worthy of this recognition,” said Ms. Pendred.
Ms. Kamarchik has been a paraprofessional and secretary for the Seneca Valley School District for 26 years. She spent six years as a paraprofessional at Connoquenessing Valley Elementary School (CVE) before arriving at the former Evans City Elementary School, now Ehrman Crest Elementary School.
“I am honored to have been chosen to be in the All-Star Club, in which I could name many more to join me. Working for Seneca Valley has been a true blessing, and just knowing that I could make a difference, even a small one, assisting our teachers, staff and our administrators, just makes my heart happy,” said Ms. Kamarchik.
Dr. Tracy Vitale, Seneca Valley Superintendent of Schools said, “Ms. Kamarchik goes above and beyond in all she does for this District. She is at all times incredibly professional, efficient and has a calming presence while serving on the front lines as a secretary at Ehrman Crest Elementary School. We can’t thank her enough for her many years of dedicated service.”
