Honors English 9 classes gained exposure to both William Shakespeare and his classic play, Romeo and Juliet, this week.  With the help of Mrs. Mihalik and Mrs. Kelly, students strengthened their Shakespeare IQs while exploring Shakespeare’s life in Elizabethan England and his use of language in sonnets and plays.  In addition, they explored song allusions to the tragic lovers and pondered the question:  Is Shakespeare truly responsible for these prominent plays and sonnets?  It was a busy but enjoyable couple of days in the library!
