Raiders end season in 34-7 loss to Pine-Richland in the WPIAL 6A championship game
The Raiders football team was using the theme “Revenge Tour” as they were making their way through the WPIAL playoffs. The Raiders lost to Central Catholic, North Allegheny, and Pine-Richland during the regular season finishing with an overall record of 7-3. They defeated Central Catholic 15-14 in the first round and North Allegheny 31-14 to look to complete the “Revenge Tour” against Pine-Richland for the 6A championship. Unfortunately, they came up shy falling to Pine-Richland 34-7 at Heinz Field Saturday night. Seneca Valley scored its only points on a 7-yard touchdown pass from Gabe Lawson to Luke Smith. The Raiders finished the season with an overall record of 9-4 and the WPIAL 6A runner-up. Congratulations on a great season. Go Raiders!
