SV to welcome familiar face at Ehrman Crest Elementary

During Seneca Valley’s School Board Meeting on Monday, May 6, Board Members approved the appointment of Dr. Bridget Miller as the District’s new principal of Ehrman Crest Elementary School in Cranberry Township.

Dr. Miller has worked in the Seneca Valley School District for 27 years, most recently as the assistant principal of Ehrman Crest Middle School (formerly Evans City Middle School). She also has previous experience as both a general education and special education teacher of third and fourth grade students.

“We are very fortunate to have Dr. Miller as the principal at Ehrman Crest Elementary School,” said Dr. Sean McCarty, Assistant Superintendent for K-6 Instruction. “Dr. Miller brings with her a wealth of knowledge and has demonstrated outstanding leadership skills throughout her tenure at Seneca Valley. We look forward to seeing her vision, inspiration and continued dedication to the students and families of Ehrman Crest.”

Dr. Miller earned her Bachelor of Science in Special Education and Elementary Education from Edinboro University, and her Master of Science in Special Education from Slippery Rock University. Dr. Miller also earned her Post Graduate Principal Certification and doctorate in Leadership and Administration from Point Park University.

“It is an honor and a privilege to step into the role of principal at Ehrman Crest Elementary,” said Dr. Miller. “Mrs. Lauri Pendred, Mrs. Tesin Amoscato, and the dedicated faculty and staff have crafted a nurturing educational environment. It is my hope to continue the trajectory of their vison and guide everyone further into 21st century learning while also working to build lasting connections and formative relationships.”

Dr. Miller replaces Mrs. Lauri Pendred, who is retiring.
