Connoquenessing Valley Elementary (CVE) second grade students were serving looks on the red carpet on March 26.
Why? Because they were visiting the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra (PSO) – virtually!
Due to COVID-19, the PSO decided to bring the orchestra to CVE. Students were given a tour of Heinz Hall with PSO Associate Conductor Earl Lee and listened to performances on percussion, brass, woodwind and string instruments.
“We encouraged them to dress up as if they really were going to the symphony and they enjoyed walking down and posing on the red carpet,” said CVE Music Teacher Susan Dinger.
