Seneca Valley Preschool is open for 2019-20 registration! This unique program is part of the Seneca Valley Senior High Child Development Curriculum. Monitored and guided by the teaching staff, high school students study the growth and development of children from birth to age five and use this information to assist in planning and teaching age-appropriate preschool lessons. Enrolling in the SV Preschool program will provide children with an opportunity to participate in hands-on learning experiences while working one-on-one with high school students. The program runs every week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from mid-October through mid-May. The program is held for two hours and is offered as either a morning or afternoon session. Cost is $180/year/session. Children must live in the district or have parents who work for Seneca Valley. Children must also be toilet trained and three years of age on or before Sept. 1. For more information and/or to register, visit www.svsd.net/preschool.
