Overview

Welcome to the central hub for updates on the Seneca Valley Intermediate High School and Performing Arts Center/Auditorium Construction Project.

This site is dedicated to keeping our community informed throughout the construction process, providing updates about parking, drop-off and pickup locations, building entrances and other important details. We are committed to clear communication, ongoing transparency, and above all, the safety and well-being of our students, staff and visitors. We encourage you to visit this page to stay informed about the latest updates.  Whether you’re looking for building renderings or answers to frequently asked questions, this page will serve as a guide to navigating the secondary campus in Jackson Township during the construction process.

We recognize that this construction project may affect pick-up and drop-off times for our elementary and middle school students, as it may take our buses a bit longer to depart from the secondary campus. Please know we are actively monitoring transportation and we will work on changes to improve efficiency.

Thank you in advance for your patience, flexibility and partnership as we take this important step forward. Together, we are investing in a stronger future for Seneca Valley – one that provides exceptional learning spaces where students can continue to grow, learn and thrive.

What to expect during construction

The overall estimated construction timeline is 4-5 years and will be completed in four carefully planned phases.

Phase 1 – New academic building addition to the Intermediate High School
Phase 2 – Demolition of the old academic building
Phase 3 – Connection between the Intermediate High School and Senior High School
Phase 4 – Construction of the new Performing Arts Center/Auditorium

Construction is planned around a fully operational campus with classrooms staying open.

To minimize disruptions and prioritize student safety, staging for Phases 1-3 will entail fenced-off areas in the lower Senior High parking lot and the front-facing portion of the Intermediate High School. Directional signage will be added around campus to guide students, staff and visitors safely and efficiently.
