Welcome to seventh grade! We hope you are excited to be a student at Ryan Gloyer Middle School, and we look forward to meeting you soon! Please take note of the upcoming dates and important information.
- Building Visitation Day: Tuesday, August 16th (9am-1pm and 3pm-6pm)
Visit the building anytime between 9:00-1:00 or 3:00-6:00. Bring your schedule with you to find your classrooms and practice opening your locker. Feel free to bring your school supplies with you to put inside your locker.
First Day of School: Tuesday, August 23rd
Please report directly to your homeroom on the first day of school. We will have an extended homeroom period in the morning during the first week of school to help you with your transition to RGMS. During this time we will provide you a copy of your schedule, building map, locker information, and planner. We will review this information and answer any questions you have before dismissing you to first period.
To help you with your transition to RGMS, we encourage you to look at the following resources posted on the Tiger Team website. These can be found in the menu to the left.
- Team Supply List
To help you get organized for seventh grade, we have compiled a list of supplies that you will need for the school year. Additional supplies may need to be purchased for encore classes. If you are unable to purchase any of the required team supplies, please email one of the Tiger teachers, and we will help you. Please bring your school supplies on the first day of school. If you have tissues, hand sanitizer, or disinfectant wipe donations, please give them directly to your homeroom teacher.
- RGMS Map
Most of your classes will be located in the Tiger Team hallway. We encourage you to highlight each of your classes on the map to help you find your classrooms.
- Bus Dismissal Map (will be posted as soon as it is available)
Please make sure you know your bus number. We will review the map on the first day of school so you know where to locate your bus.
If you have any specific questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to email a Tiger Team teacher. We work closely together as a team and encourage you to communicate with us as needed. We understand this is a big transition for you and are happy to answer any questions that you have!Tiger Team Teachers:
