    I would personally like to introduce myself to you.  My name is Mickey Flood and I am the 7th grade health teacher on the Cougars Team, as well as, the 8th grade health teacher on the Falcons Team.  I have been married to my beautiful wife Alecia for 17 years.  We have two wonderful children (Tyler, 15 and Avery, 11)   I am a '90 graduate of Seneca Valley and have been teaching for 20 years in the Seneca Valley School District.  I am a very energetic person with a great sense of humor.  I love teaching and love to have fun while learning in the classroom. I coach 7/8 grade football at SV, as well as, an advisor for the Middle School Ski Club and the Outdoor Adventure Club.  I am very active in the community, coaching youth baseball, and helping in the community.  I encourage my students to get involved in the community and give back.  Life is about choices and choices you make now can effect you for the rest of your life. I honestly believe this and try to instill it in my students.  
    Outside of school, I enjoy exercising and the outdoors.  I run marathons and triathlons, and am a lifelong student of martial arts. I am a HUGE MMA fan and attend as many events as I can.  However, the best part of life is my family and anytime I can spend with my family is a great time. We enjoy traveling and making memories together and that's what life is all about!!!
