HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS MENTORING PROGRAM
The Healthcare Professionals Mentoring High School Program sponsored by Robert Morris University occurs on the third Wednesday of each month.
Robert Morris University is partnering with Seneca Valley and several other high schools with a virtual Healthcare Professionals High School Mentoring Program during the 2022-2023 school year. The varied session topics are listed below. The Healthcare sessions will be taped and available if you cannot attend in person.
October 26, 2022 - Field Trip to RMU - Kick-off Event (Permission form required - see guidance office - deadline for registering is 10/10/2022.)
November 16, 2022 - Healthcare Organizations
December 14, 2022 - Nursing/Nursing Administrator
January 18, 2023 - Health Science and Population Health
February 15, 2023 - Psychology
March 15, 2023 - PreMedicine
April 24, 2023 - Field Trip to RMU - Final Program Presentation (Permission form required - see guidance office - deadline for registering is 3/27/2023.)
If you are interested in attending the monthly virtual presentations:
- Login to Naviance using the Clever/Log in
- Under CAREERS select "FIND WORK-BASED LEARNING"
- Find sessions by date
- Indicate attendance by clicking "ATTEND"
To attend sessions in person at school:
- Meet in the Senior High room 229 (2nd floor) - bring your laptop, earbuds/headphones

Applicants must submit the following materials to be considered for membership:
- Complete the online registration
- Submit the following forms to the Sr. High Athletics/Activities Office
- SVSD Drug Test
- SVSD Pay to Participate fee - (or met the family cap)
(Forms can be downloaded from the Athletics and Activities website. Please drop off your completed forms to Ms. McCauley in the senior high athletics office.)
Members are also expected to:
- Participate in monthly meetings
- Attend scheduled events
