    This course is a one-semester introduction to the theory and application of electricity and electronics. The theories of voltage, current and resistance are explored through videos, class discussions and various student projects. Students will learn about and use components ranging from basic resistors to complex integrated circuits.  Proper safety practices and precautions will be followed.

    This course is a one-semester course designed to provide the student with an introduction to robotics through the use of Scorbot robotic arms, Lego NXT robots and the Vex Robotic design system.  Programming languages used will be Scorebasic, Lego G, and Easy C.  The robots and programming will be used to explore manufacturing, transportation, and engineering applications.

    This is a one-semester course in which the students will have hands-on experiences in the residential electrical wiring field.  Topics to be covered will include the National Electric Code, reading blueprints, installing a service entrance, lighting and receptacle circuits. Safety practices will be stressed throughout the course.
