Welcome to the Seneca Valley Foundation!
The Seneca Valley Foundation (SVF) is a private, 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation dedicated to encouraging excellence and innovation in the Seneca Valley Schools. The Foundation achieves this by seeking donations and patrons to facilitate the development of new capital projects, programs and scholarships. Its board members consists of stakeholders from local business leaders, community leaders and school leaders. Ms. Mersing been in the District since 2019, first serving as the Executive Assistant to the Superintendent of Schools before accepting her current role in 2020. Prior to joining Seneca Valley, she worked as a Human Resources Specialist for the North Hills School District. She has previous work experience with Lynch Weis, LLC, in Cranberry Township; and Tucker Arensberg, P.C. in Pittsburgh, and has been involved with several local community organizations and non-profits. Ms. Mersing earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Concentration in Management from Robert Morris University. In addition to her role with the Seneca Valley Foundation, Ms. Mersing serves as the Seneca Valley Director of Advancement and assists with securing and writing District grants.
