School Counseling
About Us
Seneca Valley School Counselors are happy to support the students and families of the Seneca Valley School District. School counselors provide academic, social/emotional and career services for our students. It is their goal to enhance the learning process and create a culture of college and career readiness for all.
Students or parents may make an appointment to see a school counselor by calling or e-mailing that counselor directly. Students may also fill out a request form in the office. Please note that requests are handled in the order in which they are received, but priorities may shift based upon need.
Counseling Programs and Activities
Seneca Valley School Counselors follow the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) national model to provide services within the three domains: academic, social/emotional and career. These domains promote mindsets and behaviors that enhance the learning process and create a culture of college and career readiness for all students. Some of these programs include:
- Registration/Scheduling
- Career Days
- College Fairs
- Parent and Student Orientation
- New Student Programs
