Report a Concern (Safe2Say Something)
Safe2Say Something (S2SS) is a youth violence prevention program run by the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General. The program teaches youth and adults how to recognize warning signs and signals, especially within social media, from individuals who may be a threat to themselves or others and to “say something” before it is too late.
The program is a safety tool that allows students, staff and community members to anonymously report dangerous, harmful, unsafe, threatening or criminal activity at school or within the district.
Anonymous tips can be made through the Safe2Say Something system in one of three ways:
-
The Safe2Say Something website, Home - Safe2Say Something
-
A 24/7 phone line, 1-844-SAF2SAY (1-844-723-2729)
- Safe2Say Something mobile app available for download on Apple and Android devices
Here's how it works:
-
Submit an anonymous tip report through the Safe2SaySomething system
-
The crisis center reviews, assesses and processes all submissions
-
The crisis center sends all submissions to Seneca Valley school administration and/or law enforcement for intervention
-
If needed, the crisis center may contact the tipster anonymously through the app
We encourage students to share concerns with a trusted adult whenever possible and to always call 9-1-1 in the event of a true emergency.
