Mr. Nolen Fetchko
Director of Food Services
 
A native of Freeport, Mr. Fetchko planted his roots in western Pennsylvania and has over 10 years of experience in the food service industry. Mr. Fetchko served as the Director of Food Services for the Mt. Lebanon School District for the past five years. He also has prior experience in overseeing operations, menu planning and training of food service directors for multiple school districts when he worked as a Regional Assistant at The Nutrition Group. 
Additional food service experience includes his work at UPMC Heritage Place where he provided the necessary meals to residents that pertained to their dietary needs and preferences. He also worked as a supervisor at Ambrose Farmer’s Market where he oversaw the day-to-day tasks, assisted customers and spent time on the farm planting and harvesting the crops. 
Mr. Fetchko received his Master of Science in Food and Nutrition from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and his Bachelor’s in Nutritional Sciences from The Pennsylvania State University.

Ms. Faye Nelson
Food Service Coordinator
 
Ms. Faye Nelson is the Food Service Coordinator for the Seneca Valley School District.  She is a proud Seneca Valley alumnus and graduated with the class of 1983. Ms. Nelson brings with her a wealth of knowledge and community pride. She came to Seneca Valley in January 2005, as a paraprofessional and worked with the Gifted Program on the secondary campus, grades 7 - 12.  In January 2010, she transferred to the position of Food Service Coordinator.  
 
As the Food Service Coordinator, she is responsible for assisting Food Service Managers, processing free/reduced meal applications, billing and recording catered events, maintaining personnel files for all food service employees, preparing payroll, recording and verifying payments and deposits for the Food Service Department and creating the monthly financial report.  If she’s not at her desk tackling these tasks, you may see her in any of our buildings serving meals to students, cashiering, and assisting our Food Service staff when needed.  
 
Prior to her administrative role, Ms. Nelson attended Pittsburgh Beauty Academy and graduated top of her class earning her Cosmetology License. She owned and operated her own business, Dunbar’s Beauty Salon in Evans City and served the needs of her clients for 15 years.
