Veteran Recognition 2026

Today and every day we are grateful for our military service personnel, past and present, and the families who support them. It was our honor to recognize these outstanding individuals for their service and sacrifice during our annual Seneca Valley Veteran Recognition Event on Friday, Sept. 11.

Special thanks to this year’s Honorary Captain Mr. Leo Goetz, a United States Army veteran who served with courage and distinction in Vietnam with the Army’s First Aviation Brigade, 147th Assault Support Helicopter Company. For his service, Mr. Goetz received the Army Commendation Medal, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and Vietnam Campaign Medal.
