Valentine's Day Fun!

Seneca Valley students always make our hearts smile!

In celebration of Valentine’s Day, many classrooms districtwide brought in adorable valentine’s boxes and exchanged cards during classroom parties last week. Ehrman Crest Middle School students have been refining their cardboard cutting skills in CIRC (Creativity, Innovation & Research) specials and enjoyed trying out new techniques on their Valentine’s Day boxes!

At Ehrman Crest Elementary School, students enjoyed spreading kindness and building connections with the Hart Cart, a gift made possible by the Hart family mini-grant through the Seneca Valley Foundation. Students build upon their language and social skills, all while spreading heartfelt kindness and sharing a smile!

Haine’s Best Buddies chapter had a sweet Valentine’s Day celebration! Elementary students enjoyed painting and crafting during their Integrated Special, small-setting time for building classroom skills! The chapter organized a jeans day and fudge fundraiser, allowing staff to donate in exchange for wearing jeans and enjoying fudge delivered to their classrooms by Best Buddies students.

Thanks to the incredible support from staff, the event raised $400, which will support Haine’s Best Buddies chapter. The delicious treats were from Spectrum Fudge, a family-run business whose son has Autism Spectrum Disorder.
