'Together WE Thrive' All-Staff Welcome Back Event

Seneca Valley’s Welcome Back All-Staff Meeting was held the morning of Friday, Aug. 16, with the message of “Together WE Thrive!"

JROTC students gave the presentation of Colors while SV Cheer, Dance Team and Mini Marching Band led standout pep performances. Administrators even joined in on the SV Raider rally fun! Staff listened attentively to remarks from District officials and award-winning educator, writer and speaker Chase Mielke. Mr. Mielke gave an inspirational message to staff about togetherness, building resilience and fostering a positive atmosphere within the SV educational community.

In a survey given after the event, one staff member said, “Having an inspirational speaker allows teachers to approach the new school year with a positive attitude ready to inspire young minds!”

The district extends a heart-felt thank you to Eckles Construction, Rhoads Orthodontics, Fun-Fore-All and the Seneca Valley Foundation (SVF) for sponsoring staff SV Rally Towels, and the SVF for sponsoring SV spirit pompoms and the speaker. 

Teachers, administrators and staff are very excited for an engaging 2024-25 school year ahead!
