SV All-Staff Welcome Back Event 2026

Seneca Valley’s All-Staff Welcome Back meeting was held on Monday, Aug. 17, with the message of “Cleared for Takeoff.”

JROTC students gave the presentation of colors while SV Barbershop and Beautyshop Quintet groups and Seneca Valley American Sign Language Club interpreter Lanie Koliscak led “The Pledge of Allegiance” and National Anthem. Staff listened attentively to remarks from District officials and Lt. Col. Katie Cook, a trailblazing leader and the first female pilot in the history of the U.S. Navy Blue Angels. Lt. Col. Cook gave an inspirational message to staff about building excellence with the three Ms (Motivation, Minutia and Mistakes) and leading with resilience and heart. To conclude the program, local veterans, active-duty personnel and first responders were recognized for their heartfelt service to our families, staff and community. 

The district extends a heartfelt thank you to Fun Fore All, FirstStudent, Rhoads Orthodontics, Eckles Construction and CannonDesign for sponsoring staff T-shirts; The Georgie Smigel Group for sponsoring the morning breakfast; and the Seneca Valley Foundation (SVF) for sponsoring our keynote speaker.
