Patriot Day 2025
This morning, Seneca Valley students and staff came together in a commemorative event led by Seneca Valley Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) to honor the lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001. Through ceremonies, lessons and activities, our schools across the district paused to reflect the significance of this day in our nation’s history.
Additionally, Ryan Gloyer Middle School hosted a Patriot Day event to formally induct the first cohort of eighth graders into SV’s expanding JROTC program. During the ceremony, cadets recounted the events of 9/11 while highlighting the program’s mission of leadership and service.
As a community and a nation, we honor the lives of the victims of 9/11. We commend the heroic and courageous actions of the first responders, rescue workers and volunteers.
