Intermediate High School Groundbreaking Ceremony
On Tuesday, March 24, the Seneca Valley community took a significant step toward the future as members of the School Board joined administrators, staff, students, and architectural and construction partners for the official groundbreaking ceremony for the Seneca Valley Intermediate High School and Performing Arts Center/Auditorium.
The ceremony featured inspiring remarks from district leaders and current students, who reflected on the community’s growth, the vision behind the project and the excitement of what lies ahead.
Years of thoughtful planning, comprehensive facility studies and valuable community input have led to this important milestone. This transformative project will modernize learning spaces and expand opportunities across academics, the arts and beyond where students can continue to grow, learn and thrive.
“We are doing more than beginning a construction project, we are literally building a learning environment that will serve the students and families across the 100 square miles that make up our district,” said Dr. Chet Henderson, Seneca Valley Intermediate High School Principal. “This building is a testament to our shared belief in what education can and should be for every learner who walks through these doors.”
