• Mr. Nick Brower

A longtime resident of Seven Fields Borough, Mr. Brower has served the community in educational, service-oriented, and faith-based institutions since moving to the area in 2007. Mr. Brower has been a part of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) Scouting program his whole life, starting as a scout in Minnesota, earning the rank of Eagle, serving as Cub Master for Pack 406, and now Assistant Scout Master for Troop 404. He and his wife are active parents in the community and school district with two children attending Seneca Valley Schools.

Mr. Brower earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Maine Maritime Academy. After graduation, he shipped on his U.S. Coast Guard Licenses in all engineering officer capacities on international and domestic ships for almost a decade before transitioning “shoreside” to work on power plants in multiple states. Being close to home was wonderful, but shift work was difficult with a young family, so another industry change was needed. He moved his wife and new daughter to the Pittsburgh area for work on marine and powerplant engines with General Electric Transportation in Grove City and Erie, Pa. Mr. Brower’s U.S. Coast Guard Licenses are held in continuity and his State of Maine 1st Class Operator’s license is actively maintained while he continues to work for General Electric. His current employment is with the Power Conversion business as a Senior Marine Engineer.

He believes in the education and development of youth and is thrilled to be involved in developing educated citizens for wherever their aspirations and education take them.
