  • Where does the store inventory come from?

    Posted by:

We rely on the generosity of the Seneca Valley community to fill our shelves with clothing and hygiene products that help our students feel their best.

Teen years are fraught with changes and challenges, and No Cost to Shop aims to provide clean, quality clothing and various toiletries to any student who would like them.

Donations of goods generally come from Seneca Valley families and community members, SV faculty and staff, and members of the local and regional business communities. Previously-worn clothing is laundered at SV before being stocked in the shop.

Monetary donations contribute to No Cost to Shop's ability to purchase high-demand items, as well as hard to find items for students who have requested them.

(For example, a student might request sneakers in a size we don't have at that time on our shelves. We can purchase a pair of sneakers using donated funds or donated gift cards for that specific student request.)
