In order to safeguard the health and wellbeing of our supporters and the staff of both Seneca Valley School District and Cranberry Highlands Golf Course, and in consideration of Governor Wolf's most recent orders, the SV Foundation's Board of Trustees has decided to adapt our traditional golf outing to a "socially distant golf outing.” While not ideal for a “social” event, we are confident this approach will still provide for good times on the greens and a great show of support for the Foundation.
This is how the socially distant outing will work:
Golfers/Foursomes will schedule a tee time with Cranberry Highlands during any open timeslot between August 1 and August 9. Cranberry Highlands will record scores from which we will award our traditional prizes. Top golfers will be announced and congratulated via email and on Social Media on Monday, August 10. We also plan to share photos, action shots and video to commemorate the experience. A rule sheet for the 18-hole scramble will be provided by Cranberry Highlands as we get closer to the event.
Golfers will be provided with a lunch & 2-drink ticket, a special gift and a $25 gift card to a local restaurant. Unfortunately, we will not hold any skill competitions. However, a "Skins" game will still be available.
Tee Time Reservations can be made by contacting Jesse Horner, Director of Golf Operations at Cranberry Highlands, via phone at 724-776-7372 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org. August 6 is available for reservations so it you act fast to make your reservation; you may just tee off next to another Foundation-supporting-foursome!
Our silent auction will be held virtually during the same time frame of August 1 through August 9. We will share the details of the auction as the date approaches. Know that we have received some amazing donations that will surely impress.
Bundle cards will be modified to include three mulligans, an additional ticket for our raffle prize, entrance to the skins game and one extra drink ticket.
If you or your business has committed to sponsor the outing, you will be recognized in a printed presentation that will accompany golfer gifts. We will also highlight all sponsors at their respective levels on our social media pages as well as in the District's monthly newsletter, Raider Pride.
We are disappointed that we cannot host our traditional event given the COVID-19 crisis but felt it necessary to pivot our plans in these uncertain times. If you choose to not participate as a golfer or sponsor this year, please let me know as soon as possible and we will refund any payments made.
Please contact Annie Mersing, SV Foundation Director of Development, via email at email@example.com if you have any questions or need additional information.
