• Ms. Susan Harrison

    Susan Harrison grew up in Butler County and has been a resident of Cranberry Township for over 30 years. She has been representing Cranberry Township West 3, Region 3, on the Seneca Valley School Board since 2015. She and her husband, Steve, have a total of 5 children and 7 grandchildren.
     
    Ms. Harrison graduated from Slippery Rock University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a minor in Business Administration and Computer Science. She worked as a Computer Programmer/Systems Analyst for 15 years. During that time, she also taught Computer Programming at the Venango Campus of Clarion University. Her love of teaching led her to pursue a career change and ultimately earn a Teaching Certificate from Robert Morris University. Today, she is a Mathematics Teacher at New Brighton High School.
     
    In addition to being on the Seneca Valley School Board, Ms. Harrison also has served two 6-year terms on the Cranberry Township Library Board of Trustees as well as currently serving as Vice President on her HOA Board.  When an opportunity presented itself to run for the school board, Ms. Harrison said she didn’t have to think twice. She brings an insightful perspective as a member of the board with both her teaching and financial backgrounds.
