Meet the Cyber Staff - Administration
Denise Manganello - PrincipalDr. Manganello was previously the cyber program's Assistant Principal and takes the cyber helm after being an integral part of the program since its inception in 2007. Prior to that, she served as Assistant Principal of the Senior High School and has been with the district since 2006.
Dr. Manganello, a graduate of Seneca Valley, also has previous teaching experience in emotional support and as an academy supervisor with the Shaler and Pocono Mountain School Districts, respectively. Manganello earned her Bachelor of Science and Master's Degrees in Education from California University of Pennsylvania (CalU). She also received her certification in special education, elementary education, K-12 Leadership and Superintendent Letter of Eligibility from Cal U. She earned her doctorate through American College of Education with a focus on Online Education.
Amanda Mallin - Assistant Principal
Ms. Amanda Mallin previously served as the assistant principal of the Senior High School and has been with the district since 2018. Prior to joining the Seneca Valley administrative team, Mallin was the Cyber Coordinator for the Hempfield Area School District. Mallin began her teaching career as an emotional support teacher in the Belle Vernon Area School District and then continued as a learning support teacher in the Hempfield Area School District. Mallin earned her Bachelor of Science in the field of Psychology from Seton Hill University, along with teaching certifications in the areas of elementary education, special education, and early education. She obtained her Master’s Degree in Education with a focus on Teaching and Learning from Argosy University-online and completed the Principal’s Certification program at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Valerie Damiani - Administrative AssistantAfter graduating from Northgate High School, Mrs. Damiani attended Bradford Business School and utilized their co-op program to successfully gain employment at Mellon Bank where she worked for 8 years in the Trust and Investment Department. While working at the bank, she furthered her education at Robert Morris College earning an Associate Degree in Business Administration.In 2008, Mrs. Damiani was hired by the Seneca Valley School District as the financial secretary for the Senior High School. Due to the substantial growth of the Cyber Program in 2012, she was moved to a new position as the program's Administrative Assistant.
