Virtual Opportunities to learn more about the healthcare profession:
HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS MENTORING PROGRAM
Robert Morris University is partnering with Seneca Valley and several other high schools with a virtual Healthcare Professionals High School Mentoring Program during the 2023-2024 school year. The topics are listed below. The sessions occur once a month and will be taped and available if you cannot attend in person.
October 13, 2023 - Field Trip to RMU - Kick-off Event (Permission form required - see sr high guidance office for more information)
November 15, 2023 - Health Services Administration (Zoom Presentation)
December 13, 2023 - Nursing (Zoom Presentation)
January 17, 2024 - Health Science (Zoom Presentation)
February 14, 2024 - Psychology (Zoom Presentation)
March 20, 2024 - PreMedicine (Zoom Presentation)
April 2024 - Final Program Presentation (RMU Health Careers Team will visit SV)

Applicants must submit the following materials to be considered for membership:
- Complete the online registration
- Submit the following forms to the Sr. High Athletics/Activities Office
- SVSD Drug Test
- SVSD Pay to Participate fee - (or met the family cap)
(Forms can be downloaded from the Athletics and Activities website. Please drop off your completed forms to Ms. McCauley in the senior high athletics office.)
Members are also expected to:
- Participate in monthly meetings
- Attend scheduled events
