My name is Sandy Sikora, R.N. and I am the school nurse at C.V.E.

During each school year the following health screenings are provided:

• Growth and vision screenings for all students.

• Hearing screenings for all students in grades K-4.

Pennsylvania law requires physical and dental examinations for  all newly entering (usually Kindergarten) students.  Dental exams are also required in 3rd grade.

Forms for reporting private physical and dental examinations are also available from this website.

The other links on this website provide lots of information. Pay particular attention to the requirements for students receiving medication in school. The medication policy requires that NO medicine be sent to school without written request from both parent and physician. This includes over-the-counter medicine, as well as prescription drugs.  For your convenience, medication forms are available on this website and can be faxed to 724-452-5640.
