Evans City Enjoys Movie Night, Earth Day Events

It was a fun night for the entire family as Evans City hosted a movie night to raise money for the Caring Team in the Evans City Elementary and Middle School gymnasium (first and second photos). Students, who voted with their pennies, chose to watch “Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium.”

In addition, Evans City Middle School's Annual Earth Day T-Shirt Contest, sponsored by BASF Chemical Co. in Evans City, was held at the school. In the third photo below, front row, is Emma Beals, second place winner, Brent Platt, first place winner, and Lauren Schillero, third place winner. Joining them is Nick Ierino, ECMS fifth grade teacher, and Mark Finch and Tammy Osche, BASF employees and program coordinators.
