SV A Success Story

The "Pittsburgh Business Times" has once again published the supplement, "Guide to Western Pennsylvania Schools," and once again Seneca Valley has climbed higher on the list!

The Seneca Valley School District has cracked the Top 20 with a 2009 ranking of 16. The Seneca Valley Middle School, specifically, was named in the Top 10. Congratulations!!

For the fifth consecutive year, Seneca Valley continues its upward climb to the top. Over the last five years, the district jumped a total of 27 spots; going from 43 to 38 to 24 to 18 to 16.

The rankings include results from all grades that take the Pennsylvania System of School Assessment (PSSA) exams, grades 3-8, and 11. Scores are based upon comparing results for three years to a regional average.
