Application Letter
Thank you for your interest in the Seneca Valley School District. The district is now participating in the PA-Educator Clearinghouse. The application process for our professional positions has been revised.
Effective November 1, 2000 applications for all professional positions will be processed through the PA-Educator.net Clearinghouse accessible at www.pa-educator.net. This on-line service is available to you at no cost and enables you to make your application available to as many participating districts as you choose. In order to be available for Seneca Valley School District review, you need to indicate Butler County as one of your preferences.
Should computer access be limited, you still must complete the on-line Standard Application for Teaching Positions in Pennsylvania Public Schools. This step must be completed on-line. Once this step has been completed, you may mail the following supplemental materials to:

- Resume
- Copies of appropriate clearances; Act 34 (Criminal), Act 114 (FBI Fingerprint), and Act 151 (Child Abuse); these must be no more than one year old.
- Copy of your Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate or a letter from your college / university indicating that you are expected to qualify for Pennsylvania Certification at the conclusion of your program
- Unofficial transcripts
- Three letters of reference (maximum of six letters of reference)
- Essay as per Standard Application instructions
