Students enrolled full-time in the Cyber Program must be actively engaged in their on-line course work for a minimum of 2.5 hours prior to participating in extracurricular activities or practices on that day. Any Slippery Rock Online Odyssey course will be calculated for eligibility purposes.

Students must complete a full schedule. This can be obtained through a combination of traditional classes along with Cyber Program classes or by completing all Cyber Program Classes.

Students are required to take the Pennsylvania System of School Assessments (PSSA) and/or Keystone Exam for their grade level each spring. It is mandatory for students to take all local and state assessments per building requirement.

Students will be expected to remain in the Cyber Program for the full term that they are registered in the course. Students that request to drop Cyber Program classes must contact the school’s guidance counselor and the request must be approved by the building principal.

Students will receive a letter grade for each course completed.

Students' progress will be emailed daily and a progress report will not be mailed. Any student taking a semester course all year will have their grade recorded during the third and fourth marking period.

Students are required to attend school daily and be actively engaged for 27 hours a week for full time students. Please see grid and courses for required time for hybrid students. Students will be expected to follow the internet technology policy of Slippery Rock Area School District.

Student handbook, announcements and additional resources are located on our cyber program webpage.
