The Seneca Valley School District is pleased to announce the creation of the Seneca Valley Sports Hall of Fame. The mission of this Hall of Fame focuses on highlighting Seneca Valley School District athletes, coaches, administrators and contributors who have represented the district with distinction during their time at Seneca Valley.

"The vision driving the formation of the hall of fame was a strong desire to recognize the achievements of individuals and teams that have provided our school district with an immense source of community pride since 1964," said Greg Caprara, Seneca Valley athletic director.

"Over the past 40 plus years our athletic tradition has extended to every athletic program managed by the district."

Caprara's statement is on the mark. Since 1964, Raider teams have captured 56 section championships, two baseball state championships, a state championship in boys' cross country and WPIAL Championships in the sports of girls' volleyball, boys' cross country and boys' swimming. Other notable achievements by teams include the wrestling program with 450-dual-meet wins and a streak of 22 consecutive winning seasons, a girls' soccer program that has recently won their WPIAL section for four straight years and several WPIAL and state individual champions in the sports of swimming and track and field.
