Play (MS)

The Middle School Play is an extracurricular opportunity for students in grades seven and eight to participate in all aspects of a full-scale theater production. Students can perform as actors and actresses, build and design sets, run stage crew, control lighting and sound, play in the band for musical productions, design props and costumes, sell tickets, usher, and serve as stage managers. All rehearsals are after school and are generally held three to four times a week for six to eight weeks preceding the performances. Students intending to audition should be aware that participation in an after-school sport might coincide with rehearsals and prevent their participation in the play.
