Art Club (MS)

The middle school art club is for grade 7-8 students who have an interest in the visual arts. The club will meet at least once a month; often times, twice a month. Art club members will be given a new project option at each meeting, as well as the option of canvas painting, which is always available to them. The students will have a brief fundraiser in the fall to cover art materials and the cost of the art club field trip, which takes place in the spring and is decided on by popular vote.To become a member of the middle school art club, seventh graders will have a chance to sign up at the activity fair which is held in September, or on a sign-up sheet posted outside of the art room. Eighth graders must use this sign-up sheet due to the fact that the activity fair is for seventh graders only. Please know that signing up does not guarantee a spot on the club. Due to the overwhelming number of students interested in joining art club, names are pulled from a hat to determine club members. Those pulled will be contacted and a list of alternates will be kept. The maximum number of art club students is 30.
